UNDER RECONSTRUCTION!
This site is in the process of being updated.
Many new links were added 10/7/99 .
WARNING! Some of the links below are out of date.
But the vast majority of them are still good or have updates.

There are extensive archival and other resources pertaining to Gay & Lesbians on the World Wide Web. Rather than attempt a comprehensive listing here, a few select sites with rich links to other sites are given.
First, there are UMCP resources like
the undergraduate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered Association (LGBTA) website,
the Graduate Lambda Coalition (GLC) for graduate students,
the UMCP Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Staff Faculty Association (LGBSFA) for faculty and staff, and
the Provost's Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered Equity for all.
President Mote has a Presidential Commission on Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Issues of which Dr. Suppe is a member.
InforM contains a number of things pertaining to sexual orientation. To find them try

These are just a small sample of websites for queer resources or queer persons' home pages. To find more, use Internet Search or Google using key words such as "Gay," "Lesbian," "LGBT," "GLBO," "Queer," "MOTSS," etc.
The UMCP Library System has a number of computerized databases that can be searched for queer-relevant topics. For more information aceesss the UMCP Library WWW Site.
For suggestions of other links to be added to this list please e-mail the URL and home page name to suppe@carnap.umd.edu. I especially would appreciate links to gay and lesbian persons' personal home pages. Lesbians are underrepresented in the list of personal home pages, so hep redress the imbalance.
For those interested in creating web-pages incorporating various gay icons, flags, etc., there are several good archives: Rainbow Icon Archive; The Knitting School--School of Iconography
