The Foundations of Physics Group is
an affiliation of faculty and graduate students at the University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, and Elizabethtown College with interests in conceptual, philosophical,
and historical issues in the foundations of physics. The activities of
the Group are coordinated through the
Committee for Philosophy and the Sciences of the Philosophy Department, University of Maryland College Park.
The seventh annual New Directions in the Foundations
of Physics conference will be held April 25 - 27, 2008 at the American Center for Physics in College Park. For further information concerning the conference and other events, see
