The Foundations of Physics Group is
an affiliation of faculty and graduate students at the University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, and Elizabethtown College with interests in conceptual, philosophical,
and historical issues in the foundations of physics. The activities of
the Group are coordinated through the
Logic and Philosophy of Science Research Group of the Philosophy Department, University of Maryland, College Park.
The eleventh annual New Directions in the Foundations
of Physics conference will be held May 11 - May 13, 2012 at the Mathematical Association of America Carriage House in Washington, DC. For further information concerning the conference and other events, see
